    Description

    Hire Resolve, a reputable Recruitment firm, is currently seeking an experienced Freight Controller to join a leading company in the shipping services industry. As a Freight Controller, you will have a crucial role in managing and coordinating the movement of goods and cargoes for various clients.     In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of freight and shipping operations. This includes coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. You will also be responsible for managing import and export documentation, tracking shipments, and resolving any shipping-related issues that may arise.

    Requirements

    • Relevant degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Freight Controller or similar role in the shipping services industry
    • Strong knowledge of freight and shipping operations, including import/export procedures, customs regulations, and documentation requirements
    • Experience in using freight management systems and tracking tools
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
    • Ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure
