QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
Matric

Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Route Controller

Sound knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, Corefreight and/or Compuclear, etc.

Exposure to Forwarding an advantage.

Experience with general cargo import and export clearing.

Freight Industry knowledge and experience

Knowledge of Ships Agency and Freight Industry advantageous

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Receive shipment instructions

Plan sea freight shipments

Plan airfreight shipments

Tariff & rates structure

Exports & Import documentation & procedures (Customs; TPT, TNPA; Shipping lines, etc.)

Working knowledge of operational procedures

Cartage administration

Working knowledge of controlled goods documentation & procedures (e.g. Perishable & Dangerous Goods)

Routing knowledge

Working knowledge of third party quality control authorities' procedures (State Vet and SABS and etc.)

Sound knowledge of Bond & Acquittal procedures

Ability to frame entries an advantage.

Ability to get cargo from anywhere in the world and shipped or air freighted into our country.

Needs to know what to invoice the client out
