Main Purpose of the Job:
- Fleet & Inbound Freight Controller aims to maximize efficiency, increase productivity and improve safety for an organization's vehicles and drivers.
Requirements & Competencies
- Exposure to the POP courier suppliers and distributions
- Exposure to OPSI
- Fluent in English (writing; reading and speaking)
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- High sense of urgency
- Strong Problem-Solving abilities
- Strong Numeracy and Analytical skills
- Excel skills
Key responsibility Areas:
- Daily scheduling of vehicles using route planning software
- Fines management
- Vehicle Tracking and Monitoring
- Vehicle maintenance; roadworthiness and licensing
- Vehicle utilization Reporting
- Daily and Weekly Fleet planning based on forecasts
- Fuel Orders and usage management
- Driver compliance; PDP's; licenses and medicals
- Weekly Reporting
- Management of Rental of vehicles, including booking; live tracking and daily check sheet Reporting.
- Management of Devices used by drivers
- Management and reporting of device usage and process compliance
- Insurance claim for vehicles
- Obtaining quotes for Inbound Freight
- Liaising with inbound freight client and suppliers
- Planning Inbound freight collections and deliveries
- Tracking and reporting of Inbound freight
Salary:
R10 000,00 - R11 000,00 per month
Education:
- Certificate (preferred)
