Description

Manage plant operations for production and Maintenance

Coordinate activities through planning with your teams to insure the total Manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.
Develop and control profits, plans and budget.
Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries.
Manages capital assets maintenance.
Establish and monitor over Cut/Sew production unit performance for production and quality standards.
Establish and review production schedules for Cut/Sew department to ensure orders are filled on time while operating at the highest efficiency possible.
Monitor processes, operation expenses and research ways to cut waste, improve efficiencies and enhance productivity while maintaining product quality.
Work with product development personnel to develop new products and strategies.
Implements and maintains preventative maintenance programs.
Maintain efficient Inventory levels to meet daily productions needs and cost requirements.
Control and minimize labour overtime, premium freight and repair expenses.
Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary.
Monitor equipment to ensure that it is meticulously cared for and always in good working order to avoid lapses in production.
Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.
Establish and drive Environmental Health & Safety measures in the plant
Provides direction, development and leadership to production supervisor
Motivate employees to maintain production and quality levels by establishing measures of tracking performance and setting individual employee and team goals
Analyze workforce requirements; rebalance workforce across your areas of responsibility whenever necessary.
Recruit, hire and train employees
Provide coaching and mentoring and conduct evaluations of all subordinate managers and supervisors within the Cut/Sew production unit.
Build organization capabilities by driving talent development planning in the Cut/Sew department. Retain and develop high potentials in building talent pipelines; build succession planning in his/her team.
