    Seeking a seasoned General Manager for the Public Sector with a strong background in sales leadership and strategic decision-making.

    Our client is a leading organization in the Public Sector, seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead their sales team and drive business growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the public sales team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer satisfaction.
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed market share expectations.
    • Manage budgets and ensure timely sales and forecasts.
    • Build a professional public sales team through recruitment, training, and development.
    • Improve employee engagement and drive business improvement opportunities.
    • Manage employee equity and diversity, and build talent through leadership development.
    • Communicate effectively and resolve conflicts to ensure a positive work environment.
    • Recommend innovative solutions to improve performance and ensure continuous improvement.
    • Implement cost-saving activities and adapt to new environments easily.

    Requirements:

    • 4 years tertiary qualification in Commerce or equivalent.
    • MBA or Masters would be an advantage.
    • Sales accreditation will be an advantage.
    • 10+ years' experience in sales with 5 years' experience in sales leadership for the Public Enterprises.
    • Good decisional strategies and mental agility to understand complicated business challenges.
    • Valid driver's license and own transport.

    • Meet and exceed targets for new sales.
    • Exceed Customer Satisfaction.
    • Meet EE targets as per required for the year.

    • Build talent by identifying and developing new leaders.
    • Communicate actively and clearly resolving any conflict that may arise.

    • Provide specialist advise as required.
    • Initiate in projects as required.
    • Cross functional integrations between departments.
