Job Purpose

Responsibilities:


  • Specialised Credit Support to RBB frontline stakeholders for clients that fall within the following criteria:
  • Principle Client Portfolio (PCP)
  • High complexity groups with BB approved facilities >R100m
  • Groups involved with Specialised Finance transactions
  • All Public Sector groups
  • Management of credit administrative tasks include:
  • Management of CRM case and task distribution and execution
  • Quality assurance
  • Moodys financial spreading, including assumption projections if required
  • Completion of Municipality Financial Analysis Template
  • Credit risk ratings, including Corporate, Public Sector and Income Producing Real Estate (IPRE)
  • Update of Public Sector Peer Analysis
  • Debtors analysis and measurement of debtor & stock covenants
  • Limit calculations only where debtor covenants are applicable
  • Measurement of financial covenants where manual intervention is required, including Cash to Debt model (reviews only)
  • ACM Management (security value updates of debtor analysis)
  • Preparation of client letters, which includes facility letters, amendment letters, expression of interest letters, breach letters relating to breaches of financial covenants.
  • Monitor quality of reports and make recommendations regarding changes.
  • Use innovative methods in the analysis and presentation of information.
  • Support compliance with Basel II and III requirements.
  • Build and maintain an effective working relationship with all stakeholders. Includes developing own knowledge of credit processes, policies and documentation and business strategies.
  • Process enhancements on an ongoing basis include:
  • Specialists assisting with training in Credit Support Centre (CSC), including Moodys, facility letters, credit rating models
  • Creation and updating of operational guides
  • Regular meetings with PCP Portfolio and Provincial teams to identify challenges and suggestion to improve efficiencies
  • Participation in projects to improve service delivery, reporting standards, system enhancements.
  • Personal development, develop individual skills plan, attend scheduled development activities.
  • Working with and in a team to deliver on common goals.
  • Change management skills.
  • General knowledge of Business Banking Products and services.


  • Minimum Experience Level

  • Minimum 5 Years' Credit or Credit Administration experience within a Banking environment
  • 3 Years' Financial Statement Analysis or Balance Sheet Analysis experience would be an advantage

Requirements:


  • NQF Level 6 or HIgher in a Financial or Accounting related field essential
  • CIMA, Credit Management degree or CA or equivalent will be advantageous
  • Microsoft Office (Intermediate to Advanced level)
  • Nedbank NTE and other internal systems
