Job Summary

Support the Executive Director of Public Sector and Growth Capital (PS&GCS) Pan Africa with full Chief of Staff/COO responsibilities.

The key responsibilities of the COO will include the strategic interfacing with various CIB Executive Director's as well as their direct reports in the execution of the Executive Director:
PS&GCS duties across the Absa Pan African franchise.

Duties will also include the alignment of country business objectives with operational capabilities to drive growth, manage risk and enhance the desired performance across crucial business sectors, product lines and geographies.

The role will require driving the successful integration of strategic leadership, operational excellence, risk management, thought leadership, optimization of resources and cross-functional collaboration.

This role is suited to a B Degree in Finance or similar with years' experience in an Investment/Corporate Banking environment in a similar role ( Chief of Staff/COO/ Business Enablement).

Strong understanding of bank products, processes and ARO operations coupled with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills essential
