    Description

    Hire Resolve is currently seeking a Supply Chain & Purchasing Officer to join a reputable pharmaceutical company in the Gauteng area. As a Supply Chain & Purchasing Officer in the pharmaceutical industry, your responsibilities will include managing the end-to-end supply chain process, from sourcing and procurement to inventory management and logistics.

    You will collaborate with suppliers, internal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of pharmaceutical products while maintaining high quality standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

    The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in supply chain management and purchasing, specifically within the pharmaceutical industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as you will be required to optimize supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management or purchasing
    • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred
    • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and procurement principles
    • Proficient in using supply chain management software and tools
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team and cross-functional environment
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry
