The Global Supply Chain Centre of Excellence (CoE) is uniquely positioned at the core of Supply Chain and plays a leading role to continuously position Supply Chain as world-class.

This is achieved through the understanding and implementation of cutting-edge technology and practices across the Supply Chain value chain, combined with a robust people development programme and a strong link to the overall company objectives


The Performance and Reporting team is responsible for driving excellence in Data Analytics and Reporting by working with SC leaders and teams to define, develop and implement practices, tools systems, advise on the use of data analytics and reporting to help attain and maintain performance targets and drive continuous improvement.

This role coordinates all project management activities related to the Performance and Reporting Team's programme of work to ensure successful delivery of each project's deliverables in an integrated manner.

**Requirements
Provide specialist project management support in coordinating the Performance and Reporting programme of work.


Safety, Health & Environment

  • Complies with all Safety, Health & Environmental requirements.
  • Support the delivery of Supply Chain safety, health & sustainability opportunities and priorities that will support the broader organizational and Supply Chain ambitions.
  • Ensures a good understanding of stakeholder safety, health and environmental priorities, creates visibility to these and plans accordingly to enable delivery of goals and ambitions.

Performance & Delivery General

  • Coordinate all activities related to the project plan, ensuring a single view of the plan with key milestones identified and a current view of status against plan.
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of the project strategy and ensure the plan reflects priorities identified.
  • Define tasks and required resources and allocate project resources accordingly.
  • Coordinate standups and the project cadence of routines to ensure connectedness and collaboration across the team with early escalation of issues and decisions required.
  • Coordinate all elements of the project including budget, decision register, issues register and risk register with regular updates to ensure a current view.
  • Work with the Change Manager to ensure the project and change plans are aligned and compliant with the existing Anglo American defined change management methodology.
  • Maintain the project scorecard and coordinate weekly updates, providing Supply Chain leadership with an accurate progress update.
  • Coordinate setting up meetings for stakeholder engagements associated with the project success, including any Steerco.
  • Provide an interface for other related/ interdependent projects.
  • Evaluate and asses the results of the project.

Supply Chain Excellence

  • Work with the Supply Chain PMO to ensure best practices are applied in project management methodology across the team's programme of work.
  • Support Supply Chain PMO with updates required for initiatives, and ensure updates provide an accurate representation of priorities for the project and the business.
  • Provide specialist insights that contribute to developing excellence in project management across Supply Chain.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance to internal Anglo American and Supply Chain Governance requirements for all team members and pertaining to all relevant activities
  • Ensure compliance to applicable legislative requirements pertaining to relevant activities
  • Regular, timeous and accurate reporting pertaining to all relevant activities

People & Teams

  • Embrace a Supply Chain team culture of diversity and inclusiveness.
  • Support team's adherence to planned timeframes.
  • Support cross functional team interactions with internal stakeholders to execute relevant activities

Technical Knowledge:


  • Strong technical knowledge in project planning, risk management, time management and other project management skills
