    INTERNAL VACANCY:

    RECEIVING CLERK ASSISTANT

    First Fit Shopfitters is a fast-growing company offering shopfitting service and quality products which includes designing, manufacturing and turnkey operations to the S.A.

    Retail & Pharmaceutical Retail industry.

    The Company is searching for a competent Receiving Clerk Assistant who can join our dynamic and skilled team in managing and controlling the receiving function.

    The prerequisites for the position are as follows;


    • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent.
    • Computer literate, relevant qualifications will be beneficial.
    • Code 08 Drivers License
    • Good English communication skills
    The main purpose of the position;


    • To make sure that goods are received in good quality and with correct information. Ensure that the flow of information is forwarded to the buyer or respective persons.
    The responsibilities for position will include, but not limited to;


    • Assist in receiving goods or material and ensure it corresponds to the order or delivery note.
    • Assist with checking quality, quantity, and length as per order.
    • Assist with offloading of material and packing it in the stores or respective areas where it is fully identifiable.
    • To report all discrepancies to the Receiving Clerk.
    • Ensure that stock levels are adequate to ensure that production and shopfitters are effectively serviced. Inform Receiving clerk of any low stock outs.
    • Ensure all stock items and materials are clearly labeled and packed in order in the store.
    • Be able to assist production in identifying information and prepping for full stores loading.
    • Assist in expediting late orders and balances in despatch.
    • Required to do monthly stock taking
    • Maintain good housekeeping in the stores and surrounding areas.
    • Perform all other duties as instructed by your superior from time to time
