WE ARE HIRING
We are looking to employ a self-motivated, problem-solving, friendly
Creditor /debtor clerk & admin assistant who is willing to learn and exceed their day-to-day duties.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Receive all invoices/ credit notes from both trade and sundry creditors.
- Confirm the validity of the tax invoices/ credit notes, ensure that they have been duly approved.
- Capturing of the tax invoices/ credit notes using the correct general ledger allocation codes.
- Reconciliation and payment of the company approved creditors.
- Following up on all queries and keeping the accounts up to date.
- Prepare and post receipts, deposits, purchase orders, invoices, refunds, and other standard bookkeeping tasks.
- Ensure that transactions are processed daily in the system and that they are accurate and complete.
- Preparing the Invoices for clients.
- Ensuring client invoices and statements are correct and reconciles back to the POS system.
- Ensure bank and petty cash transactions are recorded accurately daily and weekly to the correct general ledger codes and other relevant accounts.
- Allocating of invoices to different branches.
- Create and update spreadsheets of daily transactions.
- Conduct the office administration.
- Ensure the compliance of administration, finance and policies and procedures.
- Answering phones and greeting visitors.
- Take clear messages and communicate effectively with customers, clients, team members, and management.
- Maintaining the filing system and keep it organised.
- Other ad hoc duties as and when required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a creditors/debtor clerk
- Minimum 3 years' experience with processing petty cash and Bank reconciliations
- Own transport Essential
- Financial background would be advantageous.
- Always keeps the highest standards of compliance and confidentiality.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
Up to R15,000.00 per month

Education:
- High School (matric) (required)
Experience:
- processing petty cash and bank reconciliations: 3 years (required)
- creditor clerk: 3 years (required)
Willingness to travel:
