    Gibela, Africa's top train manufacturer and passenger train maintenance firm, is dedicated to leading the South African railway sector's revival. The goal is to promote commuter rail as the preferred mode of transport for urban communities.

    We are looking for qualified candidates for the Logistics Coordinator role in the Motors Manufacturing Department. The position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and is located in Dunnottar, Nigel (Gauteng).

    JOB PURPOSE

    Execution of material handling activities, documentation, safe storage, receiving, delivery of goods, and logistics operational area housekeeping.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Liaise with procurement for scheduled deliveries alignment.
    • Inbound goods entry execution, tracking, & reporting.
    • Transfer posting & confirmation for warehouse binning.
    • Bin master data maintenance & modification.
    • Daily reporting to management on all inbound & outbound movements.
    • View & report planned production orders for picking & line feeding.
    • Execute transfer requests to transfer orders.
    • Assist with inventory investigations & reporting.
    • Liaise with procurement on missing items & oversee line feeding.
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12.
    • Relevant Undergraduate Qualification in Supply Chain.
    • Must have SAP (Warehouse Module) experience.
    • Previous Warehousing and stock control experience.
    • Understanding of warehouse operations, procedures, and terminology.
    • Knowledge of storing equipment, materials, and supplies techniques.
    • Record-keeping and inventory methods experience.
    • Experience with the Warehouse Management System (GSI).
