    MANUFACTURING ADMINISTRATOR

    Operations

    Accountable for operation of own work area or as a member of a team, as well as for quality, standards and outputs within defined work routines and policies.

    Job Purpose

    The purpose of this role is to provide efficient administrative support to the Production Manager around Manufacturing issues. The role will be responsible to ensure accurate document management and control, and will also assist with reporting and organisation/site wide communication on manufacturing related issues.

    Key Accountabilities and Outputs Manufacturing Administration

    Log and keep track of manufacturing initiatives and tasks Control and monitor the movements of incoming and outgoing raw materials Create and distribute manufacturing/production related communications across the organisation, region or site Manaage and and control all production related documentation Provide general administration support to production team Assist with the creation of manufacturing reports and presentations General Operational Contributions Actively participate in operational planning and reporting processes Drive continuous improvement through streamlining and optimising relevant operational practices, processes and tools Adhere to operational and financial frameworks of practices, processes, standards and controls Control cost and take the necessary action to mitigate any financial risks or non-compliance Adherence to the health, safety, food and environmental standards Staff shall adhere to all Food Safety Policies and PRPs and shall adhere to and enforce all food safety requirements at all times Staff shall adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental Policies and PRPs and shall adhere to and enforce all Health and Safety requirements at all times Visitor and Contractor Policy staff shall ensure that visitors or contractors entering the facility are signed in, escorted and wear PPE, are aware of the hygiene policies and do not smoke, eat or drink inside the facility Code of Practice staff shall maintain high levels of personal hygiene in accordance with the code of conduct Handwashing Procedure Ensuring staff are cleaning and sanitizing hands efficiently before handling the product

    Qualifications and Experience Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4 (Essential) Upto 3 years experience (Operational Execution) MS Excel; MS Word; SAP; E Mail; MS PowerPoint Key Qualities Communication Routine communication in connection with instructions, requests or normal work tasks Problem Solving Proactive identification of problems that are concrete and procedural, troubleshoot and apply solutions in line with guidelines provided or escalate more complex problems to others, providing information required to solve problems.
