- Managing IR-related issues (BACs, grievances, conciliations, disciplinary hearings, appeals, and conciliation/arbitration)
- Monitor and control absenteeism including disability claims
- Staff Inductions (new employees) and exit interviews (terminations including death claims)
- Monthly Reporting (MMIS, Divisional CEO Report)
- Implement and advise on all legislated practices to ensure that the company complies with the BCEA, LRA, SDA, and BBBEE Code of Good Practice
- Recruitment up to D1 Paterson level (Full process)
- Advise and educate line managers with all HR issues i.e.; implementation of Policies and Procedures
- Participate with the team to achieve goals
- Work closely with the HR Manager on development plans within the department
- Support function to the HR Manager
- Includes travelling to different sites as and when required
- In-depth understanding and knowledge of BBBEE
- Tracking BBBEE according to targets
- EE Reporting, compilation, and submission
- Audits, DoL Inspections
- Ad hoc administrative duties
- Overtime Exemption
- Min 3 years experience as an HR Officer in a manufacturing environment
- Comprehensive understanding of HR Functions including Industrial Relations
- Full understanding of Business Principles
- Must be a strategic thinker
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure
- Strong excel skills
- South African Citizen
