- Matric
- Minimum 3 years administration experience in a customer liaison role within technical manufacturing industry
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook)
- JDE/Salesforce will be advantageous
- All RFQs/Orders are attended to within 24 hours of receipt or before closing date and time.
- Contact with relevant persons is maintained regarding the status of quotes and orders.
- All relevant quotes/orders and supporting documents are correctly saved and tracked as per departmental procedures.
- All quotations and orders are followed up on and input is provided.
- Orders on JDE are expedited to ensure delivery deadlines.
- Critical orders are handled urgently by following the correct channels within each Division.
- All queries/complaints are handled to customer satisfaction.
- Order confirmation of delivery dates are confirmed, and customer is communicated with accordingly.
- External and internal customer orders and queries are managed to ensure that expediting is in accordance with set standards.
- Upfront invoices are requested and PFI sent to client when required.
- All outstanding client payments are expedited weekly.
- Import permits are expedited and obtained from the customer when necessary.
- Weekly reports are distributed by due date.
- All Customer Complaints as well as progress on resolution of those are communicated to the Manager as well as the relevant Salesperson.
- All customer e-mail and telephonic queries are investigated and responded to within 24 hours.
- Open Order report is completed and sent weekly.
- All information pertaining to the RFQ, the Quote and the order is captured as soon as received on the Sales Force.
