    Description

    Shipping Document Controller role requires expertise in logistics and document management for imports and exports to Africa.

    This global company provides innovative logistics services across South Africa, offering a diverse culture with opportunities for growth and development.

    As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:

    • Preparing commercial invoices and packing lists
    • Preparing documents for letter of credit
    • Ensuring correct issuing of bills of lading and other documents
    • Tracking of containers and shipping documents
    • Confirming and amending documents with the factory
    • Updating the status report
    • Sending original shipping documents to clients for clearance at destination
    • Liaising with bank, clients, factory, regional offices

    You will need a matric and a logistics qualification with at least 7 years' experience in a logistics environment, in a similar role.
