Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic young graduates to join our local travel agency as Audit Associates.
As part of our dedicated auditing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity of our operations.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive financial audits of the travel agency's operations, including revenue, expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger entries.
- Review and analyze financial data, ensuring adherence to accounting principles, industry regulations, and internal policies.
- Identify and assess risks, providing recommendations for process improvements, control enhancements, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Perform internal control testing to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, documenting findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to implement audit recommendations and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, accounting standards, and regulatory changes impacting the travel industry.
- Assist in the development and implementation of audit programs, ensuring compliance with established auditing procedures.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate records of travel packages, accommodations, and related services.
- Support the annual external audit process, liaising with external auditors and providing necessary documentation and information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience or internships in auditing, accounting, or finance roles is preferred.
- Solid understanding of auditing principles, practices, and standards.
- Proficiency in using financial analysis tools, accounting software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Salary:
From R4,500.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sandton, Gauteng: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employerprovided relocation package (required)
