Job Summary:

We are seeking enthusiastic young graduates to join our local travel agency as Audit Associates.

As part of our dedicated auditing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity of our operations.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive financial audits of the travel agency's operations, including revenue, expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger entries.
Review and analyze financial data, ensuring adherence to accounting principles, industry regulations, and internal policies.
Identify and assess risks, providing recommendations for process improvements, control enhancements, and risk mitigation strategies.
Perform internal control testing to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes.
Prepare detailed audit reports, documenting findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to implement audit recommendations and drive continuous improvement.
Stay updated on industry best practices, accounting standards, and regulatory changes impacting the travel industry.
Assist in the development and implementation of audit programs, ensuring compliance with established auditing procedures.
Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate records of travel packages, accommodations, and related services.
Support the annual external audit process, liaising with external auditors and providing necessary documentation and information.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Previous experience or internships in auditing, accounting, or finance roles is preferred.
Solid understanding of auditing principles, practices, and standards.
Proficiency in using financial analysis tools, accounting software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to meet deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
