    Description

    Lead a team of advisors to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve key performance indicators.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team leadership, customer service, and sales, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    This role requires a high degree of patience, assertiveness, and rapport-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members to achieve their full potential.

    The successful candidate will be a role model who embodies the company's values and is committed to delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver success against key performance indicators and plans through effective management of people.
    • Create a positive learning environment that empowers and develops team members.
    • Be a role model who participates in achieving the wider contact centre's overall objectives.
    • Gather information to analyse problems and generate solutions.
    • Understand the business and its strategy, products, services, and organisational structure.
    • Organise and plan ahead to meet deadlines and quality measures.
    • Support others by sharing knowledge and expertise.
    • Conduct performance reviews and lead, coach, and develop direct reports.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Matric qualification with English and Maths.
    • Minimum 12 months' team leader experience.
    • Minimum 12 months' experience in a call centre environment.

    • Good motivational skills to bring out the best in team members.
    • Good managerial skills to lead the team successfully.
    • High degree of patience and assertiveness with excellent rapport-building skills.
    • Positively contribute and lead in team activities.
    • Takes pride in work, checking own for quality.
    • Maintains effective time management.
    • Manage the negativity of others.
    • Knowledge of disciplinary procedures.
    • Ability to prioritise deliverables and plan accordingly.
    • Embraces change whilst remaining productive and positive.
