    Description

    Our team in Prospecton, Durban currently has an opening for a Warehouse Administrator

    Responsible for receipting,inventory control and despatching administration functions for own and 3PLwarehouses, this includes stock and non-stock items. The role also providesadministrative support by maintaining systems and ensuring all data is recordedin the appropriate databases thereby ensuring goods are delivered to customer,on time and in full.

    YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Responsible for ensuringaccurate receipting, inventory control and dispatching of products in and outof the warehouse.
    Picking and ordervalidation
    Ensure relevantdocumentation (delivery notes/COA's/SDS's) are quality checked before goods arereceipted/despatched.
    Perform the requiredHazchem verifications to ensure compliance to the National Road Traffic Act 93of 1996
    Keep record ofdespatched and receipted goods (stock and non-stock)
    Confirmation of Pod's
    Inventory cycle counts
    Coordinate the movementof products between sites.
    Ensure appropriateequipment and consumables are available and in working order.
    Report defective equipment.
    House keeping
    Comply with Safety(including Process Safety), Health, Quality and Environmental standards.
    Comply withgovernance and established policies, systems, procedures, and practices

    YOUR PROFILE

    Matric or equivalentqualification
    2 years ofadministrative experience within the chemicals industry (Food/Pharma/DG andnon-DG goods) preferred.
    Knowledge of GWP (GoodWarehousing Practice) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), as applicablewould be advantageous.
    SAP knowledge (Advantageous)
