Warehouse Controller - Johannesburg Branch (Kramerville)

Overview:

The overall responsibility to ensure for the effective and efficient functioning of the warehouse including co-ordination of distribution functions and ensuring outstanding customer service and support to branch and sales personnel.

Minimum requirements

Gr 12 supported by an applicable qualification and/or experience in Warehousing and/or Distribution.
3 5 years applicable experience in warehouse and distribution coordination and functions including supervision of personnel.
Sound knowledge warehouse operations and distribution including receiving, dispatch, picking, stock control, order management, warehouse layout, route planning, scheduling and administration.
Proven track record in the achievement of order fulfilment rates, cost efficient operations, stock control, maintaining systems, procedure adherence, prevention of losses, meeting of deadlines, sales and customer support.
Managing personnel including manning, training, development, Health & Safety and discipline.
Good applied skill in MS Excel with previous knowledge of warehouse and stock management systems ( e.g. IQ, SAP, SYSPRO).
Sound planning and organizing skills with attention to detail.
Full bilingual in English and Afrikaans with excellent communication skills
An accredited and valid South African driver's license and own vehicle.
Being able to work extended hours including Saturdays ( planned schedule).
Energetic, results driven, resilient, selfdisciplined, organized.
