    POSITION SUMMARY:

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Trainer/Facilitator to join our Learning and Development team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for employee development and a proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs. As a Trainer/Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the skills, knowledge, and performance of our employees, ultimately contributing to the overall success of our organization.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    **Position based in Cape Town with responsibility for supporting global offices, including those in the Americas. This role requires flexible hours, maintaining full-time commitment of 40 hours per week. Candidates must be available to conduct training sessions across various time zones, which may occasionally involve early or late hours.

    Training Program Design:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to assess training needs.
  • Design and develop engaging and impactful training programs that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Create a variety of learning materials, including presentations, manuals, and multimedia content.
  • Facilitation:

  • Conduct training sessions using various methods, such as instructor-led training, workshops, and virtual training platforms.
  • Facilitate interactive and participatory learning experiences to ensure maximum engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Adapt training delivery methods to accommodate different learning styles and preferences.
  • Deliver sessions to diverse learners globally, available to deliver across different time zones.
  • Content Delivery:

  • Effectively communicate complex concepts and information in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, making adjustments as needed.
  • Individual and Group Coaching:

  • Provide one-on-one coaching sessions to support individual employee development.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment that encourages teamwork and knowledge sharing.
  • Deliver insight assessments (such as Gallup Strengths, DiSC and/or Hogan) including feedback with coaching plan support to individuals, leaders, and teams.
  • Technology Integration:

  • Utilize technology to enhance training delivery, including e-learning platforms, virtual classrooms, and multimedia tools.
  • Stay current on the latest learning technologies and incorporate them into training programs where applicable.
  • Feedback and Assessment:

  • Gather participant feedback to assess the effectiveness of training sessions.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure learning outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Other duties may be required/assigned for business needs.

    WHAT YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Education, Training, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Trainer/Facilitator in a corporate setting.
  • Successful track record of delivering classroom/virtual trainings across a broad range of corporate areas and personal development topics.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Qualification and experience in administering insight assessments required (such as Gallup Strengths, DiSC and Hogan Assessments etc.)
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • High level of ability to manage self, time, and commitments to ensure a great customer experience.
  • Proficiency in using various training tools and technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Must be flexible to work across time zones when required
