About Laetitia van der Westhuizen:
I am a Foundation Phase teacher that completed my bachelor’s degree with Cum Laude in 2015. Having been a Grade Head for four years has taught me valuable organization and communication skills. I apply the curriculum in a creative manner because children learn better while having fun. I can be of value at the school with my classroom management, love for children, patience, conflict resolution abilities and positivity. I furthermore have experience in teaching learners with learning barriers. I am CAPS trained and computer literate. My experience in netball and tennis coaching and completed courses in netball, tennis and beginner swimming will also be of benefit.
I have knowledge of assessment and administrative procedures and I am Afrikaans and English proficient. I will be involved in school projects, fundraising, cultural and extracurricular activities. I get along well with staff members, learners and management and I have a passion for my work.
My husband and I are ready and excited to move to Dubai and begin our next adventure.
