    Description

    Our client based in Cape Town, who is a key leader within the packaging machines & packaging technology industry is seeking to employ a Retail Sales Representative. Our client has over 80 sites in more than 160 countries worldwide.

    Minimum requirements:

    • Grade 12
    • Valid Driver's license
    • Strong sales background
    • Proven work experience as a sales representative (3-5 years)
    • Excellent customer relationships
    • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
    • The ability to work with a team
    • Must be self-motivated and perform without supervision
    • Packaging Industry experience will serve as an advantage
    • Marketing Diploma will serve as an advantage.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Selling all Client Consumable Categories with specific focus on new products
    • Focus efforts on the Retail Sector of Cape Town
    • Selling of smaller dedicated Client Equipment
    • Maintain positive business relationships with customers
    • Achieve agreed upon sales targets
    • Service the existing accounts, obtain orders and establish new accounts
    • Plan and organize daily work schedules to call on existing or potential accounts or sales
    • Resolve customers complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports
    • Make recommendations to management
    • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results support such as daily call reports, weekly work plan and monthly analysis
    • Travel and sleep out as need arise.
