We are an Import/Export Business who have been servicing the Wholesale and Retail sector with an extensive unique range of plastic products, ranging from kitchen - glass - gardening and bathroom ware.


Currently we seek a well-groomed and articulated individual who is fully bilingual, together with tenaciousness that can expand footprint further into the wholesale/retail market.

Sales and Marketing- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.

SALES REPRESENTATIVE RESPONCIBILITIES

  • Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features and solicit orders.
  • Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interest.
  • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses and credit terms.
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates.
  • Train customers' employees to operate and maintain product merchandising and sales. Ensure planograms are followed and Brand ticketing and pricing is prominently displayed.
  • Prepare sales contracts and order form.
  • Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs and attending trade shows and conferences.
  • Prepare drawings, estimates and bids that meet specific customer needs.
  • Negotiate detail of contracts and payments.
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors' products, prices and sales.
  • Negotiate with retail merchants to improve product exposure, such as shelf positioning and advertising.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as preparing for sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records and filling expense account reports.
  • Review sales against budget and adjust sales strategies to ensure compliance and budget achievement.
  • Plan, assemble and stock product displays in retail stores or make recommendations to retailers regarding product displays, promotional programs and advertising.
  • Check stock levels and reorder merchandise as necessary.
  • Arrange and direct delivery and merchandising of products. Do product merchandising and fill shelves to ensure maximum exposure of product
  • Attend weekly meetings and provide feedback on sales achievement and targets.

Salary:
R12, R25,000.00 per month
