Junior Graphic Designer

Hobby Life Africa is an Established distributor supplying imported general merchandise starting from plastic-ware, brush-ware, toys, pots for plants, decor and kitchen accessories and have been servicing the retail, wholesale and cash/carry markets.

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Graphic designer with up-to-date knowledge, that can interpret our needs and design solutions with high visual impact and manage all our Social Media accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Cultivate a solid body of work
Take the design "brief" to record requirements and clients needs
Schedule project implementation and define budget constraints
Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas
Administer and update social media platforms
Design posters and promos for social media platforms
Update our website with any change new products, change in product ranges
Administer website trafficking
Keep pricing spreadsheets update on excel
Update CRM with sales and marketing files
Weekly planning of all social media content
Daily social media posting
Creating all Social media content

Minimum Requirements

Proven graphic designing experience and certificate/diploma qualification
Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Corel Draw, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc)
Proficient in all design aspects
Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines
