Job Summary:

The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities, establishing relationships with potential clients, and promoting the company's recycling services or products.

The role involves a combination of client acquisition, relationship management, and achieving sales targets.


Responsibilities:


Prospecting and Lead Generation:
Identify potential clients and industries that can benefit from the company's recycling services or products.
Research and gather information about potential clients to understand their needs and pain points.
Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending industry events.


Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction with the company's services.
Conduct regular follow-ups to assess client needs and address any concerns.
Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues.


Negotiation and Closing Deals:
Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with potential clients to secure new business.
Collaborate with internal teams, such as operations and finance, to ensure the smooth onboarding of new clients.


Market Analysis and Insights:
Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitors' offerings.
Provide feedback to the management team about market needs, customer preferences, and potential areas for expansion.


Sales Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress toward sales targets.
Provide regular sales reports to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.


Continuous Learning:
Keep up-to-date with developments in recycling technologies, regulations, and sustainability practices.


Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the recycling, waste management, or environmental services industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical aspects of recycling services.
  • Selfmotivated and resultsoriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.

Salary:
From R8,000.00 per month


License/Certification:
