    Description

    RPO Recruitment is currently partnering with a leading Engineering Consulting firm in South Africa to find a dynamic and experienced professional for the position of Head of Department. As the Head of Department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the engineering consulting projects, leading a team of engineers, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality services to clients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide strategic guidance and direction for the department's operations and projects
    • Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support
    • Ensure the successful delivery of engineering consulting services to clients, meeting quality standards and project deadlines
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices
    • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to drive business growth and achieve company goals

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
    • Proven experience in a leadership role within the engineering consulting industry
    • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in a relevant engineering discipline
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills
    • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders
    • Proven track record of successful project delivery and client satisfaction
    • Professional Engineering registration and membership in relevant industry associations
