    Description

    Seeking Dedicated Assistant for Specialised Psychiatrist: Delivering Exceptional Patient Care in a High-Pressure Clinic Setting.

    Use your experience as Receptionist/Secretary and exceptional patient care in a high-pressure clinic setting to drive performance in our client's private clinic environment. Based in Randburg, the Clinic provides tailored treatments to their patients needs with a strong focus on sustainable health and wellness.

    What's required:

    • At least three to four years of work experience as a medical receptionist
    • Matric Certificate which is required to qualify for an interview
    • 35 years old and above and wants to stay in a career long-term with no intentions to immigrate
    • Excellent verbal and written English skills as well as meticulous, highly competent and organised, able to prioritise work appropriately and be very efficient with grasping new concepts quickly
    • Punctual, honest, reliable and emotionally mature
    • Have a calm, patient, friendly and helpful demeanour and listen attentively to patients
    • Be able to assist the doctor as needed including welcoming and attending to patients, creating electronic medical files and filing all patient documents electronically, invoicing and taking payments from patients, reception duties
    • Respond timeously to emails, assisting doctor with patient referrals to other disciplines, typing letters when necessary and other administrative duties that are required of a medical practitioner
    • Experience with Goodx billing software or similar, liaise with medical aids for various aspects
    • Excellent knowledge and use of Google Calendar and Microsoft (One Drive, One Note, Excel and word)
    • Collaborate well with nurses, administrators, and all other clinic staff
    • Must be willing to be well versed with all doctors policies and procedures and adhere to them
    • Able to work flexible hours in case of an emergency with a patient or hospital admission, where the doctor would require assistance
    • Own transport preferable
