    Description

    Requirements:

    • open-minded, eager and self-driven to identify and capture new business opportunities in the Oil&Gas, Home&Personal Care, Pharmaceutical, Coatings, Refractories, Agricultural and Polymers industries. An existing understanding of Sodium Bicar, Aluminium Oxide, Magnesium Oxide, Caustic Soda, Plasticisers or related chemicals will be considered an asset.
    • a quick-study to understand products, applications, markets and trends to turn opportunities into sales
    • network with people internally and externally to promote the brands and products of our principals
    • flexible to travel 10-25% of her/his time, mostly in South Africa, but also Sub-Saharan African countries
    • develop new business and be able to manage key accounts
    • adept at negotiating sales contracts working directly with distributors and/or customers.
    • able to develop a good understanding of the competition in terms of products, pricing structure, activity and market trends in the key applications.
    • meticulous in his/her analysis and record keeping to feed Principals with intelligence

    Requested profile:

    • Sales Experience in the Chemicals or Polymers industry
    • Formal degree. Degree in Business & Management / Engineering/BSC will be considered an asset
    • 3-5 years experience in sales & marketing in Chemicals &/or Plastics Industry
    • curiosity and interest to develop new business, good networking abilities;
    • Entrepreneur spirit, Trustworthy, Driven, Self-Motivated, Sociable, Dynamic, Target oriented, Team player and confident personality.
    • Fluent and well written in English.
    • Available H1 2024;
