Duties & Responsibilities

  • To set up appointments with new clients for Sales Pitch of our products/services.
  • Meet and exceed the financial and strategic sales targets agreed with the Wire Speed Systems IT
  • Work with existing and new accounts to position the IT portfolio offerings through consultative selling.
  • Build and manage a network of customer relationships, generate pipeline
  • Develop and implement account and opportunity plans.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues in the sales team for knowledge sharing and collective solution development.
  • Represent the brand at events in support of IT experts speaking at these events, and through networking.
  • Host IT workshops with customers, upon request, to allow engagement of IT experts to educate and advise on best practice and industry trends in the IT sector.
  • Track and report on all opportunities, pipeline and bookings.
  • Managing the final contract documents and creating the required board documents.
  • Obtain the necessary board approvals and confirmations with support of Presales.
  • Management of the external communication processes during Bid phase.
  • To liaise with external customers, government institutions, committees, internal customers and service providers to ensure SI experience, compliance to legislation as well as SI policy and procedure.
  • To coordinate and solve customer queries and complaints through the calllogging procedure and policy as well as the SLA
  • To manage allocated new and existing customer relations according to agreed terms and conditions.
  • To contribute and advise on an annual sales and marketing plan for approval by management as well as the implementation of the approved marketing plan within the allocated industry or area.

Job Requirements Qualification:


  • BCom Marketing and Sales Certifications
    Required:
  • Business Information Systems Degree / IT Related Degree

  • Essential

Experience

  • At least 5 years' experience in a Business Development/Sales role within IT Space.
