    Description

    Our client is looking for an experienced and dynamic person to lead their destination management company based in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be able to contribute to the growth and success of a destination management company, leveraging the unique opportunities available in the South African tourism industry. The role requires a blend of strategic vision, creativity and practical operational skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences for their clients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational objectives and drive
    • Oversee day-to-day operations, including client services, supplier
    • Lead and motivate a diverse team to achieve high performance and
    • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory
    • Monitor and analyse ?nancial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and
    • Identify market trends and opportunities for innovation and
    • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, and employee
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and
    • Represent the organization in industry events, conferences, and networking

    Key Competencies Required:

    • 5+ years proven experience in a leadership role, with a track record of success in managing business operations within the tourism/hospitality industry
    • Relevant degree/diploma in tourism management or similar.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal
    • Strategic thinking and decision-making
    • Financial acumen and budget management
    • Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve
    • Knowledge of industry trends and best
    • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and integrity in business practices.
