    As a Customer Support Specialist (Spare Parts), you will be part of the Industrial Automation Division and Power Generation Business Units (BU) based in Modderfontein.

    These industries include oil and gas, power, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper, metals, cement, minerals, marine and turbocharging.
    Tasks

    As a Customer Support Specialist (Spare Parts) you will be responsible to provide internal and external customer support (e.g. Technical, Order assistance, Payment-related assistance) and coordinate with relevant resources to have complete case ownership and to increase customer satisfaction.

    Your tasks as a Customer Support Specialist (Spare Parts) will include the following:

    Customer Assistance:
    Ensure the resolution of customer issues (e.g. quote on requested orders, technical and payment) by coordinating with sales, operations, supply chain management, and other internal or external teams. Coordinate resolution with after sales service or spare parts teams.

    Customer Requests:
    Recommend appropriate solution for customer request, and coordinator with related teams to ensure the complete handling of the request (e.g. production capability and scheduling, quotes, price lists, invoice) is in place.

    Customer relations:
    Proactively informs customers about issue status on inputs and clarifies any questions. Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the entire process.

    Data Analysis:
    Prepare and analyze regular statistics (e.g. forecasts) using available tools and collecting relevant information.

    Targets:
    Track regular target performance and provide results to management.

    Task:

    Ability to multi-task, complete the requests for quotes to customer, search for correct price on ABB system, place order with supplier, expedite and arrange delivery of parts to customer.

    Requirements

    N6 or Diploma Electrical Engineering (Light Current or Instrumentation).
    Understanding or knowledge of Electrical products (Ideal Instrumentation and automation products).
    Experience in generating quotations for electrical parts
    4 or more years of experience in generating quotes & sales of Services products in power generation market.
    Previous experience of Service business a plus.
    Excellent written and verbal presentation skills are required. Should be fluent in English comprehension and writing and other languages a plus.
    Computer skills, SAP and CRM knowledge advantageous.
    Quotation generation for spare parts and services.
    Creating invoices and sending to customers.
    Following with customers for overdue invoices.
    Expediting of materials and order tracking.
    Collaboration with supply chain for sending materials to different customers.
    Computer skills.
