Are you looking for a challenging role that you can use your skills for? If so, this Technical Infrastructure Specialist (Cabling Scoping) role is perfect for you Please apply

    This is a full-time role that requires one year of experience in the field and an existing comms infrastructure.
    The incumbent will work closely with our onsite network engineers to ensure all cables are cabled appropriately, cabling is correctly terminated and installed according to the manufacturers specifications. This includes performing cable layout plans for new installations as well as monitoring cable performance and ensuring customers receive optimal service from their network.

    Requirements

    • Maintains office communication systems and supports computer networking equipment for network infrastructure
    • Ensures high availability, reliability, and redundancy of all electrical, mechanical, and communications systems.
    • Assists in coordinating and coordinating capital investments in premises and broadcast facilities and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local building codes.
    • Conducts internal audits and external reviews to ensure that all company policies are adhered to.

    Qualifications

    • Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, PIX/ASA/Nexus IP products preferred.
    • Five years of experience in a technical infrastructure role with knowledge of Cisco and/or Juniper Networks equipment preferred.
    • Experience working with the following systems: routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs is preferred.
    • Must have experience working with various types of networking equipment, servers, and switches.
