    Overview of Company

    Established from small beginnings in 1998, QuickEasy Software is focused on developing and supporting a cost-effective, easy-to-use Business Operating Software (BOS) that provides all the functionality to run SMEs efficiently.

    Our BOS software is efficient at streamlining complex business operations for companies in the Manufacturing, Engineering, Printing, Packaging and Signage industries, to name a few.

    Over the years the company has extended its operations to Africa, Europe, Middle East and Asia.

    Overview of Position

    QuickEasy Software is seeking a dynamic Software Consultant to become a pivotal part of our team. The successful candidate will engage directly with clients, guiding them from the initial ERP requirement scoping to the final stages of implementation and training. This position offers the unique opportunity to work with diverse clients in the manufacturing sector, providing tailored solutions that drive efficiency and success. With a focus on both technical and interpersonal skills, the Software Consultant will play a critical role in maintaining our standard of excellence in customer service and software expertise.

    Duties

    The primary duties of the Software Consultant include conducting customer requirement scoping sessions to identify and understand client needs accurately. This role involves documentation of these requirements, along with creating the end-user documentation.

    The candidate will be responsible for the setup and implementation of our software, ensuring a seamless integration into the client's business processes. Additionally, the role encompasses providing both online and onsite customer training and reviews to ensure client satisfaction and software efficacy.

    Qualifications and Skills

    A Bachelor of Commerce Degree or Diploma is advantageous but not essential. Key to this role is being tech-savvy, with a keen ability to quickly adapt to and utilize various software tools. A robust understanding of business processes and accounting principles is crucial, as it will aid in comprehensively addressing client needs.

    The ideal candidate will be a driven individual who exhibits strong confidence coupled with good interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and team members alike. We value the ability to listen attentively, accurately interpret requirements, and understand complex contexts, ensuring clarity and precision in all interactions. Fluency in English essential.

    Work Experience

    A minimum of five years' experience working with multiple companies as an external Accountant, in software support, or in a general IT support role is required. Hands-on experience with accounting or ERP software is essential, highlighting the candidate's ability to understand and navigate complex software environments effectively.
