    Description

    Duties include:

    • Responsible for creating and implementing digital marketing campaigns to promote hospitality services.
    • Working closely with local and international hotels within the group to fall in line with the Social Media Strategy as well as projects and events.
    • Email marketing
    • Liaising with related service providers
    • Responsible for daily maintenance of the Hotel Facebook page which includes taking and loading up of professional photographs.
    • Prepare media kits and media visits
    • Content creation
    • Monitor website traffic, email campaigns metrics and social media analytics
    • Liaison between the hotel and media manager, ensuring that press arrangements are booked and that awareness of the incoming media is communicated to all parties.
    • Optimise website content for search engines to improve search rankings
    • Assist in managing the digital marketing budget
    • Monitor expenses and ROI to ensure cost effective campaigns
    • Continuously improve and expand technical skills in graphic design software and emerging technologies
    Requirements
    • South African Matric or equivelant
    • Must have a valid drivers license.
    • Relevant degree or diploma
    • Knowledge of both the Inbound and Outbound industry is essential
    • Experience in social media is a necessity.
    • Must have proven experience in digital marketing, including email marketing, social media and content creation
    • Must be able to host Breakfast, Lunch or dinner when required.
    • Must be prepared to work over the odd weekend when required to do so at exhibitions
    • Must be proficient on Microsoft packages, e-mail, internet and social media.
    • Proficiency in marketing automation tools
    Attributes:
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
    • Must be well presented and have excellent interpersonal skills
    • Excellent written and spoken English
    • Must have ability to work independently and achieve targets
