    Job Summary

    Our Core Team is dedicated to accommodating guest requests from the ordinary to the extraordinary.

    Key Activities

  • Supporting company and hotel policies and procedures
  • Participating in scheduling and supervising a team.
  • Ability to work effectively and provide leadership within a management team with shared responsibilities
  • Oversee CORE operations while on duty with direct accountability for leadership of department
  • Ensure service standards are met and exceeded i.e., anticipation of guest needs, upselling, test calls, daily tasks, training, etc.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all guest issues/complaints receive prompt action and follow up and are communicated effectively to all relevant areas.
  • Taking charge of Core agent duties when needed
  • Establish and maintain an effective communication process with all departments, Spa, Room Service, Front Office, Sales, Catering, Conference Services, Housekeeping and Engineering to ensure smooth experience for guests
  • Participating and facilitating training for new hires and monthly department meetings
  • Liaise with VIP parties, Pre-arrival screening process, coordinate with multiple departments to provide a seamless experience for our guests
  • Attendance at all required Hotel meetings
  • Thorough knowledge of emergency procedures (Emergency Preparedness Manual) and general crisis situation procedures
  • Reconciliation of Payroll, Incentives for staff, and OTA reservations
  • All other duties as assigned
  • This position involves a heavy volume of guest contact and fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English is required. The ability to assume responsibility for the department in the absence of a manager is essential.
  • This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
