Reporting to the Networks and Comms leaders, the AV VC Team Lead is seen as a team leader and service delivery manager for the AV VC service globally. The candidate needs to be an experienced leader of people and have good personal skills to manage 3rd party vendors and contractors. Responsible for delivering first class AVVC service to our colleagues and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. You will have experience of working in high impact environments where service matters and exceeding expectations is the norm.

Key Responsibilities
The AV VC Lead's primary areas of responsibility is ensuring a smooth and seamless AV VC service and experience for our colleagues. The Team Lead must be able to ensure critical service delivery issues are resolved in a timely fashion, requests from our colleagues are actioned according within the service management processes.

The Team Lead will need to build and maintain a mature AV VC service offering, through ensuring that there are defined standards in place, technical lifecycle of products & services is managed, incident management processes are followed and lay down a good foundation of ITIL practices. Services you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting include, but are not limited to: Video Conferencing, Microsoft Teams, Webex, IP TV

Experience, skill and capability

Core skills and experience

• You will have considerable first-hand experience of supporting, design engineering and building sustainable solutions that can scale

• You will help set and maintain Investec AVVC Standards. Obtain quotations and manage technology suppliers and partners in delivering against our standards

• You are expected to have experience of managing teams and service delivery

• You will have an attention to detail in everything you do along with a natural willingness to help your customers and colleagues

• You will be familiar with a variety of voice & networking technologies and techniques to provide appropriate solutions for our colleagues

• You will be able to deliver change to the infrastructure and network environment with minimal downtime whilst following a strict change control process

• You will have good experience of tracking incidents / requests / change using ITSM systems and making sure tickets are kept up to date and clients are updated on a regular basis through to completion and closure

• Experience in managing costs and budgets is essential and required in the role

• Experience in maturing service delivery through adoption of ITIL practices is essential

Technical Skills & Experience
You will have good knowledge and understanding of several areas, including but not limited to:

• Cisco Webex, Cisco Room Kits, Cisco Webex Control Hub

• MS Teams

• AVVC kit certified to run MS Teams

• Exterity IP TV

It is desirable and advantageous to have experience with several of the following:

• Azure Fundamentals

• Logitech, Polycom

• Networking basics

Technical Certification
It would be desirable and advantageous to have a certification in ITILv3 foundation or higher
