    Description

    Hire Resolve is currently seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our client's team in the Manufacturing Industry. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of the warehouse by assisting with various tasks related to receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in the manufacturing industry and contribute to the efficiency of warehouse operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials and products
    • Prepare and pack orders for shipment
    • Ensure accurate inventory control and record-keeping
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
    • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently
    • Collaborate with other team members and departments to meet customer demands and deadlines

    Requirements

    • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred
    • Matric/Grade 12
    • Bachelors Degree in Logistics and/or Warehousing is advantageous
    • Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping
    • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (valid certification is a plus)
    • Good organizational skills with attention to detail
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
    • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    • A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
