About Zain Waja:

I have approx. 18 years experience in the Warehouse, Distribution, Operations, 3PL’s, Reverse Logistics, Last Mile, Shipping Imports & Exports, Air/Seafreight, Supply Chain and Logistics industry.

I'm knowledgeable and proficient in ERP, WMS and TMS systems, revised and implementation of SOP's, Policies, Processes and Procedures. Strategically implementing costs savings measure's, Operational contingency plans and cross training of staff and functionalities in key areas and positions. SLA's negotiations and renewal of contracts with outsourced labor brokers, outsourced contractors and service providers. I'm a key holder and responsible for a 17 0000sqm Warehouse with stock and assets valuing between 25-350 Million Rand. (Depending on the time of the month and time of the year.)

I'm experienced in Labor Law and hold a certificate for Initiator and Chairperson for Disciplinary Enquiries in a workplace. I'm the on site 16.2 Chairperson of the H&S committee and 20 KEYS Champion and holder of 2 Keys namely, Key 6 "Kaizen of Operations" and Key 17 "Efficiency & Productivity." I have received awards for 2 consecutive years and consistent commendations for achieving gains in productivity, efficiency, costs savings, and for creating and highlighting Health and Safety awareness. In addition to the above I'm responsible for our bi-annual audited Stocktakes and Safety Audits and achieved the NOSA 5 star rating for consecutive years.
