    This is an excellent opportunity for a SENIOR BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST (SENIOR BI ANALYST) to join the world's largest and fastest growing tech-enabled logistics and delivery platform, used by consumers, businesses, and international retailers.

    This SENIOR BI ANALYST role is based in CAPE TOWN (Hybrid-remote) and offers a salary of R1.1m – R1.3m.

    As Senior BI Analyst you will gain expertise in delivering advanced analytical insight to stakeholders, informing strategy and commercial gain.

    THE ROLE:

    Working in a specialist Business Intelligence team (BI) you will collaborate with colleagues in the BI Analytics area. Whilst the Analytics team provides the dashboards and data collection and production, as the Senior Business Intelligence Consultant, you will be analysing and communicating relevant insights focused on operational efficiencies and profitability.

    You will provide key stakeholders with contextualised, data-driven, and actionable customer insights which accelerate commercial growth and inform strategic and operational business priorities.

    RESPONSIBILITIES include:

    Apply expert analysis and commentary to management information and use this analysis to create compelling evidence-based and actionable data stories to share with stakeholders to drive decisions.

    Lead as an ambassador for analytics and insights, support others to improve and interpret data. Create, track, and prepare a wide range of reports that are accurate, clear, and commercially focused.

    Compare projections with actual outcomes and advise company leaders on strategies to boost profits and productivity.

    Ensure data and analysis is of high quality and accuracy, and work with a variety of qualitative and quantitative data.

    Work with the Data Engineers to support continuous improvement of data quality.

    Source, collect and extract data that is accurate and fit for purpose, working with developers to configure, test and update configurations.

    Work with project teams to procure, implement and validate appropriate analytics tools against identified performance measurement frameworks.

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    Degree educated in a relevant numerical subject (Stats, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, etc)

    Solid experience working as a BI consultant / BI Analyst.

    Experience working with operational functions to support growth through insights.

    Able to identify key insights and commercial drivers from data.

    Ability to communicate complex findings to key stakeholders in a simple way, with excellent data visualisation and storytelling skills.

    You will need to enjoy engaging and influencing through data, a variety of stakeholders to help make positive changes.

    Advanced SQL and ideally Tableau.

    Google Cloud business suite management experience (desired).
