    Description

    Purpose of the role:

    • We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to guide the team in managing and prioritising the backlog; helping the team deliver value to our customers, and effectively meeting their needs

    Requirements:

    • Diploma or Degree in an IT field
    • Certification in Agile methodology
    • Minimum 5 years experience as a product owner or in a similar position
    • Beneficial to have an IT technical background
    • Experience in the life insurance sector
    • Ability to manage stakeholder needs efficiently
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership abilities
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Refine backlog in collaboration with the team
    • Communicate customer requirements to the team
    • Mentor and share knowledge on standards/best practices, especially during reviews
    • Enhance efficiency in customer business processes
    • Document proposal content including solution, business value, and estimated effort
    • Create and improve company training materials
    • Spot opportunities for upselling and cross-selling with customers, working with Account Managers
    • Maintain client solution knowledge base
