    Description

    Purpose of the Job:

    The Grade A CCTV Controller will report to the Compliance Officer. The primary responsibility of the Grade A CCTV Controller is to ensure an efficient operation of the Control Room.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Enforce the Companys Code of Conduct
    Ensure that the Control Room is fully operational and efficient
    Handle and resolve Staff and Client Complaints
    Carry out duties and tasks as per the Site Job Description
    Ensure that the primary function of the Control Room is always upheld
    Must be able to multi-task from CCTV monitoring position to answering telephone calls in the Control Room and
    issuing access reference numbers
    Access Control Procedures to be followed

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
    PSIRA Grade A Registered
    Matric Certified
    Solid Computer Proficiency
    3 to 5 years of experience in the Security Industry
    3 to 5 years of Control Room/CCTV Experience/ Call centre experience
    SAMAE (Surveillance and Monitoring will be advantageous)
    PAW (Personality and Work Integrity Profiling)
    SASSETA ("Writing Reports and take statement" will be advantageous)
    ISASA / Craig Donald Training will be advantageous
    NKP Training will be advantageous
    First Aid, Fire Fighting, Health and Safety REP training will be advantageous
    Estate Security background will be advantageous
    Electronic Equipment experience will be advantageous
    Knowledge of the Security Industry regulations including Operational and Client requirements
