    RS Recruitment Services is assisting a well-established organisation in the AGRICULTURAL/MANUFACTURINGINDUSTRIES to recruit a RISK MANAGER to be based at their head office in UMHLANGA. R1.2 to R1.4 million, including benefits.

    OUR CLIENT HAS EXTENSIVE AGRIBUSINESS OPERATIONS IN SIX AFRICAN COUNTRIES, MANUFACTURING FOOD PRODUCTS SUPPLIED BY THEIR OWN AGRICULTURAL OPERATIONS AND INDEPENDENT LOCAL GROWERS. THEY BELONG TO AN INTERNATIONAL FOOD, INGREDIENTS, AND RETAIL GROUP OPERATING IN 52 COUNTRIES

    The ideal candidate should have/be the following:

    A qualified CA.

    More than 5 years experience post articles.

    5 7 years experience in an operational, financial or commercial role.

    Project management skills.

    Risk management experience advantageous.

    Experience in Consumer Products or FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) environment will be an advantage.

    Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

    Maintain internal control over Financial Reporting environment.

    Project management business process flow updates including performing financial risk assessments and designing new or updates to internal control environments.

    Identify areas of improvement and implement changes to address these e.g. introduce new technologies and staying abreast of any changes in legislation.

    Responsible for ABC (Anti-bribery & Corruption) Reporting and monitoring compliance.

    Designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the organisation, which includes an analysis of the financial impact on the company when risks occur.

    Provide central support for all insurance claims and maintain records of insurance policies and claims.

    Define key business process, risk and controls/business intervention that addresses risks.

    Building risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company.

    Implementation and follow-up of action plans to mitigate risks and address findings from audits and internal testing.

    Management of compliance requirements in coordination with concerned departments (especially finance, marketing, operations) and third-parties.

    Conduct risk assessment of all departments.

    Develop the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) strategy, systems and standards in conjunction with the Financial Director, aligned with the strategy and objectives.

    Remuneration:

    R1.2 to R1.4 million, including benefits.
