    Description

    CORE PURPOSE OF JOB

    The main purpose of this position is to provide effective administrative support to the Emthonjeni Student Wellness

    The administrative assistant assists in the proper functioning of the office by maintaining files, scheduling appointments acting as a receptionist, typing, preparing reports, conducting correspondence, distributing information, data entry, coordinatingactivities.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Provide secretarial and administrative support
    • General office management
    • Filing and information management
    • Financial administration

    CORE COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS

    • Strong organisational skills
    • Strong computer skills (ITS, MS Office, Internet, e-mail)
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Good time management skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills

    In order to be considered for appointment to this post, candidates should have complied with the following requirements:

    • M+1 or equivalent qualification,
    • Have at least 2-5 years of relevant experience in which the above competences have been gained.
