    Description

    Copper leaf construction has an exciting full-time opportunity for an ambitious Administrative Assistant to provide daily administrative support for project management and ordering of building material for the projects.

    Reporting directly to the Account Manager, this position will start as a 3-month temporary contract assignment. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience in the construction industry. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Order and track receipt of job materials Communicate with project management to coordinate arrival of building materials Visit job sites as necessary and conduct inventory Ability to work with a variety of people.


    Education/Experience/Skills:
    Grade 12 Matric. 2 years administrative experience required (construction field a plus) Fluency in written and spoken English.

    Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products, but especially Excel, Word and Outlook Good attitude, strong customer service skills, detail oriented Focus and the ability to remain cool under pressure in a fast-paced work environment are a must Fast learner with the ability to juggle competing priorities a must Outstanding organizational skills required.


    Additional Info:
    The person will be responsible for negotiations of pricing and ordering of construction material through Pastel software.
