- Maintain the security landscape which includes Firewalls, ISE's, proxies.
- Conduct necessary checks, implement monitoring tools, and promptly respond to alerts.
- Enforce policies according to best practices.
- Implement Firewall rules.
- Reduce risks by applying patches and upgrades.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors for assistance.
- 3 - 5 years of solid work experience within a medium to large ICT organization
- Understanding of prevalent security issues, vulnerabilities, and cyber attacks.
- Hands-on experience in deploying network security solutions, securing operating systems, and platforms.
- Familiarity with network policies dictating standards and procedures for system configuration, installation, operation, maintenance, and repair.
- Ensure devices are correctly configured to support the firewall products.
- Create firewall configuration files for various platforms and operating systems.
- Conduct tests to verify firewall configurations.
- Advanced diploma, degree, or relevant qualification in IT/Computing (or substantial equivalent work experience)
