    Description
    • Matric/Grade 12,coupled with related Diploma in Parts Management
    • Minimum of 3 years Parts Management Experience in the Forklift/Material Handling industry essential

    Duties

    • Achieve an acceptable market share, through maximizing sales of parts to trade and distribution to customers
    • Plan, manage and monitor the implementation of governance, compliance, integrity and ethics
    • Ensure processes are in place to identify and manage risk and expose liabilities
    • Plan and manage financial activities in line with approved policies, processes and procedures
    • Manage, identif0y and address customer needs by providing a variety of related parts, products and accessories, to enhance satisfaction and retention of customers
    • Implement people resource planning in line with delivery, performance objectives and budget
    • Coordinate and monitor the sales and marketing activities of parts, products and accessories for delivering against planned initiatives
    • Ensuring all production orders are shipped to customers in a timely manner in adherence to delivery schedules
    • Communicating all delays or variances in inbound/outbound freight to the appropriate parties
    • Update and send out an ETA listing to all regions weekly
    • Maintaining strict control over inventory levels to meet internal and external demand of the product
    • Following up on all open orders and backorders regularly
    • Ensuring parts information on Autoline is kept up to date and accurate
    • Ensuring that the Autoline price file is updated when suppliers and OEMs adjust their pricing, or if the ROE goes above the factored rate
    • Planning warehouse layout and space requirements to prevent loss or damage and to achieve full warehouse optimization
    • Considering full implications of freight turnover, size, weight and other factors when allocating warehouse space
    • Managing annual returns to OEMs
    • Managing creation of all SDRs and following up until credit note received
    • Ensuring that the credit process is adhered to and approve all credit requests for the Parts Department
    • Enforcing companys policies regarding security and safety to maintain a safe working environment
    • Supervising a team of warehouse employees
    • Identify and resolve all issues in the department and ensure achievement of all short and long-term objectives
    • Assisting with recruitment paperwork and processes for the department.
    • Investigating causes of lost or damaged shipments and other matters, adjusting where necessary
