Main Purpose of Job

To actively develop and expand the market share through selling DAF and TRP Related Parts to achieve/exceed budgeted order intake, revenue, and gross margin. Concentrating on the National Market, concentrating on Wholesale and Retail partners. Ultimately build a Parts Sales Team to achieve above.



Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of the parts sales strategy
  • Achieve the company's Parts purchase budget to achieve the Annual target
  • Supporting Supply Chain to achieve DAF NV Budget letter
  • Identify and grow the current and new National Parts Opportunities to maximise the parts sales revenue.
  • Achieve and exceed the wholesale and retail Parts Sales budget targets for Revenue and gross profit margins
  • Coordinate activities of DAF N.V. with Part sales department, i.e. new parts, new parts developments, parts training, bulletins for implementation
  • Foster excellent relations with other departments, i.e. Technical, Commercial and sales personnel
  • Foster excellent relations with the dealer network
  • Visit dealerships to ensure the Parts Action Plan is carried out in accordance with the Parts Strategy
  • Establish relations with new customers and strengthen relationships with current key account customers
  • Drive constant improvement to customer service and relations for parts sale - CRM
  • Issue regular communication to stakeholders (Manco, DAF Principals, dealers and branches).
  • Parts sales management information reporting
  • Monitor, record, and report customer's purchasing trends in optimizing gross profits on Parts sales
  • Monthly MANCO reporting inputs consolidated for Parts sales, i.e. PDC and Dealerships
  • Provide product and parts sales training to the Parts sales staff and PDC staff
  • Develop and build a parts sales function suited to meet the needs of the business and market
  • Manage E Learning to be completed by All Parts Sales Staff, as required by DAF Academy

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • National Vocational/Technical Qualification
  • Sales, Marketing, or Business Management tertiary qualification
  • Parts Sales Experience 5-7 years in the Commercial Vehicle Industry and Management experience
