    RESTAURANT MANAGER – 5-STAR PROPERTY (PAARL REGION)

    We have a dynamic opportunity for a Restaurant Manager at a five star property in Paarl.

    The ideal individual is a hands-on, service orientated manager with previous experience in managing high-end properties. Strong operational skill-set, with the ability to lead and continuously develop staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Minimum of 3-5 years management experience in a sophisticated / hight-end restaurant environment.

    The key role is to oversee and manage the Food and Beverage operations.


    Requirements and Experience:

    • Hospitality Management Qualification advantageous
    • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar environment and role
    • Training and staff performance management ability
    • Confident and excellent communication skills
    • Hands-on approach to F&B operations
    • Guest and service centric approach
    • Excellent interpersonal- & communication skills
    • Flexibility, adaptability
    • Passion for the hospitality industry
    • Own vehicle and valid driver's license is essential

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure the smooth running of the daily restaurant operations and activities
    • Being actively on the floor during service to ensure excellent guest interaction and service excellence
    • Continues staff training and staff performance management
    • Inventory management and supplier liaison
    • Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations

    General administrative duties:
    staff rosters, time and attendance, managing bookings and enquiries
