    Portfolio Manager: Tender Management & Graphic Design

    Aon South Africa s recruiting a Tender Management and Graphic Design Portfolio Manager in our Marketing department based, on a hybrid basis, from our Head Office in Sandton. The Tender Management & Graphic Design Manager is responsible for collecting and coordinating the documentation required in preparation of a tender.

    What the day will look like

  • Responsible for the design and layout of tenders, roll folds and presentations in line with the corporate identity guidelines for all business units within the organisation.
  • Collects and collates company information, company certificates, templates, letterheads and ensure it is loaded on Aon Avenue
  • Designs cover and divider pages for tenders, proposals, and renewal meetings.
  • Liaises with suppliers and obtains quotes for external printing where vital.
  • Responsible for design and layout of new policy wording documentation and proposal forms.
  • Responsible for amendments of existing policy wordings documentation and proposal forms.
  • Responsible for design and layout of the quarterly staff newsletter as well as obtaining information on content.
  • Assists and supports the team in developing and creating any other newsletters.
  • Ensures reports, presentations, internal policies etc. are correctly branded according to corporate identity guidelines.
  • Assists with copy typing where vital and ensures the documentation is kept in PDF format.
  • Issues letters by means of mail merge functionality.
  • Assists, creates and designs brochures and other marketing material for all business units within the organisation.
  • Updates and maintains templates, letterheads, presentations, company certificates etc. and ensures it is up to date on the Aon intranet.
  • Assists with re-branding and updating existing documentation where necessary.
  • Processes advertising and printing invoices and ensures payments are made.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

    Qualifications.

  • Be in possession of Grade 12 (matric).
  • Project Management Certificate will be an added advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree / Business Administration in Marketing will be an advantage.
  • Certificate for In-Design / Illustrator / Photoshop / Coral Draw will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge.

  • Digital literacy with advanced experience in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Sophisticated know-how in Adobe creative Suite packages, i.e. InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • An extensive knowledge of the South African and international short-term insurance markets will be advantageous.
  • An in-depth strategic knowledge of industry and business strategies and company goals will be advantageous.
  • Project management know-how will be advantageous.
  • Understands and follows the Aon colleague values and takes ownership of personal development.

  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess bid opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Presentation skills
  • Typing speed of 80 wpm or more & high accuracy
  • Well-developed communication and copy writing
  • Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Ability to co-ordinate bid meetings covering the bid requirements.
  • Experience.

  • Have proven experience in bid management role.
  • Have advanced experience in Adobe Creative Suite packages, i.e. InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator and PowerPoint skills.
  • Event co-ordination / project management experience will be advantageous
